While we have all been getting used to the new normal of lockdowns, quarantine, social distancing, wearing face masks and gloves, video conferencing and learning online, there are silver linings that we should not ignore.
As we all contend with the new normal in the age of Coronavirus, the International School of Prague, like many schools around the world has had to rapidly switch gears into a virtual world of learning and human interaction. Now that school is physically closed, we employ our many digital tools in new and creative ways, to bring us all a little bit closer together.
I am convinced that the single most important factor to ensure student learning for life is learner empowerment.
When, if not when they are in school, can students learn in a safe environment about their own capacities to make a difference as global citizens?
“We create change that’s bigger than we are.” That’s one of the International School of Prague‘s (ISP) ISP2020 strategies. Taking action to make a difference
I am hopeful that your generation and even my generation is equipped with the will and the ability to guide the world back into balance.
